History of Pete's RV Center - Mountville, Pennsylvania

1963
Gayle Kline RV Center opens on a 1/2 acre site in Mountville, Pennsylvania five miles west of Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Highway 462.
1969

As sales boomed, two additional acres were added to Gayle Kline RV Center. Our first motorhomes arrive on the lot. 

1973

Business booms and Gayle Kline RV expands again, an additional 13 acres on the Mountville property to meet the need for RV storage, service areas, as well as continuously growing stock of new RVs.

1984

 Sales offices, a complete computer room, larger parts store and additional service areas are added.

1985

We expanded our sales and storage lot by adding fence and security to ensure peace of mind and total safety. 

1990

A large eight bay service building is built on the property. The new building is used for pre-delivery work, and additional space for service.

2001

Gayle Kline retires and sons Terry and Jeff Kline assume ownership of the business. 

2018

Gayle Kline RV Center celebrates 55 years in business. 

March 2020

Pete's RV Center acquires Gayle Kline RV Center as our fifth dealership, just a few days before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down hits. 

June 2020

The dealership is officially re-named Pete's RV Center Pennsylvania, becoming the second Jayco exclusive dealership in the Pete's RV family. 

July 2021
Pete's RV Center acquires our sixth dealership, The Trail Center in North Charleston, South Carolina.
