The Growth of the RV Industry

By 1969, America’s top family activity was growing in popularity - and the dealership needed to expand by two more acres just to keep up! When the first motorhomes arrived in the dealership inventory, they brought with them a need to understand the service requirements of these newer styles of RVs. 

In 1973, the camper dealership expanded by an additional 13 acres. This space helped accommodate the growing inventory of models - as well as provide RV storage and RV service areas to those in Mountville, PA, and the surrounding areas.

In 1984, an expansion included sales offices, a complete computer room, a bigger parts store, and additional service areas. In 1985, the sales and storage lot expanded and gained fence and security for better peace of mind. In 1990, the growth in sales and service led to the addition of an eight-bay service building. This space handles pre-delivery work as well as common camper service needs.

 

Joining the Pete’s RV Family

In March 2020, Gayle Kline RV Center became the fifth member of Pete’s RV Dealer Group. Over the years, this dealership has helped thousands of families pick their first, second, or even tenth camper! 

Under the new name of Pete’s RV - PA, this dealership still holds true to the original goal of Gayle Kline RV Center: provide exceptional customer satisfaction and empower local families to live their family camping dreams.
